Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety - General Public Qualification
What is the qualification?
The National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety provides a base level of workplace health and safety competency as well as recognising specialist competencies. It is flexible in its application to allow a relevant selection of subjects for different industries. This programme is for those new to the industry or wishing to update their current skills and knowledge.
This is a general course open to ALL members of the public. This course deals with the fundamentals of Health and safety practices, and is applicable to all employees in many different industries.
How much will the Health and Safety course cost?
The Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety will cost $2,347.00 (Incl. GST) for students enrolling in the full qualification in 2010.
How long will it take to complete the Health and Safety course?
The qualification can be completed within 1 year.
Where can I complete the course?
The course will be delivered at the Waiariki Institute of Technology, Mokoia campus in Rotorua in 2010.
