Q. What other courses do you provide for the Forest and Wood Processing Industry?

Q. What dates do the courses run?

A. Semester One - Term 1 22 February to 2 April; Term 2 19 April to 25 June.

Semester Two - Term 3 19 July to 24 September; Term 4 11 October to 19 November.

Q. What job opportunities are there for me?

A. The Forest and Wood Industry's need skilled and qualified employees now.  Approx. 600 to 1,000 new trained employees are required each year to meet the demands of the industry.  See our career's page for more detailed information.

Q. What is the future outlook for the forest industry?

Q. Can I travel to New Zealand and study as an International student?

A. Yes, you can.  Waiariki Institute of Technology has a department dedicated to enrolling and helping International students be successful in their study.

A. Currently we have people from the following country's studying with us - India, Vanuatu, Fiji, Croatia and Australia.
