Diploma in Manufacturing

This diploma is designed to produce graduates who will have acquired enhanced leadership, business management, scientific, technology and production management skills.

As a graduate you will be able to effectively manage production processes; you will also be able to assist companies in maximising their return on investment through resource optimisation.

The components of this course include block courses common to all manufacturing processes (e.g. costing, process analysis etc.). Examples and elements will be taught across a wide range of processes.

Students leaving school with good acheivement in maths, english and science will also find this course to be of great benefit and use to start their career path.

Graduates will have broad in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, they can control processes that require specialist skills, standard or non-standard procedures and routine and non-routine contexts. Graduates can interpret data and determine methods to solve problems.

Level: 5            Length: 1 year full-time, or part-time equivalent

Class Times: Each module/block runs from Monday to Saturday (Inclusive). Class hours are approximately 8.00am to 4.00pm with an hour for lunch.
