This graduate diploma is designed to provide students with an opportunity to acquire additional specialist knowledge and skills in the field of management in chosen strands of business, forestry, health and Mâori development. This qualification enables students to develop the management skills and knowledge required to successfully work in and manage a sustainable business operation in Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Criteria for Award |
To achieve the award of the Graduate Diploma in Applied Management, students must pass a total of 120 credits, including:
· 120 credits at Level 5 or above;
· a minimum of 75 credits at Level 7;
· 45 compulsory credits;
· 30 credits from a specialist strand in the Options List; and
· 45 elective credits.
On completion of the 30 credits in a particular specialist stand, as well as all of the above award criteria, students may receive the award of the Graduate Diploma in Management with an endorsements in Business, Forestry, Health or Mâori Development |

Graduates will be able to:
· solve work-based problems through an understanding of contemporary management theories and practice;
