Growth at Waiariki reaches Government's limits
Waiariki Institute of Technology has experienced excellent, consistent growth in student enrolments over the past three years. This growth has been part of Waiariki's business plan and commitment to provide relevant, quality education and vocational training to the region.

This year in particular there has been a significant increase in demand to study at Waiariki's four campuses. As a result, student enrolments have increased by 26 percent and Waiariki has now reached its maximum as agreed with the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) on behalf of the New Zealand government. Therefore, Waiariki is unable to accept any further TEC-funded student enrolments for the remainder of 2009.

All students who have completed enrolment forms are being notified by mail that their enrolment is pending. Waiariki will place these students at the top of the waiting list for Semester 1, 2010 and confirm enrolment in early 2010.

In the current economic atmosphere, there is no better time to upskill and gain up-to-date and relevant training for today's workplace. Waiariki is currently accepting enrolments for 2010 on our certificate, diploma, degree and post-graduate studies.

Waiariki urges prospective students to begin the enrolment process as early as possible. Knowledgeable school administrators are available and happy to assist in any way, from selection of courses and qualifications, to completing the required forms.
