Logging courses come together at Tangatarua Marae
The new round of logging students came together today at Tangatarua Marae for their initial powhiri.

24 students attended all together. The Waiariki Kaumatua Ken Kennedy oversaw the proceedings and did the formal welcome.

In 2010 more logging classes will be starting together at the same time so our powhiri will have 50 to 60 students attending!

Then at the completion of their course' the students will have a graduation ceremony as well. Bring on 2010!
