Prof Cris Brack gives a heads up on his activities for the week.
More from Cris' travels:
"This week will be packed full of events, including:
* planning for a major long term research trial at the Canberra International Arboretum; * negotiating with the ACT Chief Minister's staff on a possible visit to Rotorua to look at "The Redwoods" on Monday; * short workshops on Forest Planning on Tuesday and Thursday; * and lots of graduate student discussions on Wednesday and Friday.
I'll hopefully be focusing on LiDAR and GIS-related work with some of the graduate students, and am wondering about running a LiDAR workshop at Waiairiki. There seems to be lots of interest on both sides of the Tasman and a relative paucity of people who know how to extract useful information from the LiDAR data clouds."
