"Wood Preservation 2009 was a unique three yearly update on new wood treatment technologies, research, changing standards and key developments from Australasia, North America and Europe. It ran for those involved in timber treatment in Australia and New Zealand in mid April this year. The technology series had close to 200 attending. Since the event was run we have had ongoing requests for papers and full sets of proceedings from the wider industry.
Because of the demand, 17 of the presentations given in April have now been uploaded for use. The presentations can be downloaded now by Friday Offcuts readers through the Technology Showcase section of the website. FIEA members can access the remaining papers from either the Technology Showcase section on the Offcuts website or going directly to the Tech Updates page of the new FIEA Website. Members now have access to over 250 detailed technology papers or presentationson forest products technologies."
