Access Pacific Ltd invested in a number of their employees through the teaching of Hank Bier on the subject of wood.
The course covered - properties of wood, timber grading systems and an overview of the wood manufacturing process.
Christophe Heyberger, who is based in France, also attended and provided this feedback -

What difference we can find in between your system and French system is way of teaching is more open, more friendly, but still very professional.
Our exchange was very rich because we were all professional in the room and did put Hank on big pressure with our technical comments! Just kidding to say that he did show us high knowledge on wood and also chemical things added.
So what I liked was interactive way of having discussion around wood and products, with high knowledge of products grown in New Zealand, this will be good for us to develop products here in Europe, and we know that we can always send you a message in case we need some technical information, we can rely on your high skills."
