Topic : "Current forest health threats on plantations and natural forests" .

Our speakers will cover the following issues among others:

•The new disease of Radiata Pine called "The needle disease" (Phythosphora) that has appeared in Chile affecting some of Arauco's plantations, and is a potential treath to New Zealand;

•and Kauri Dieback a disease threatening the health of kauri trees in the Auckland region.
