BOP NZFFA Field Day


Saturday July 10th, Tauranga
The local BOP farm forestry association is inviting NZIF local members to attend a valuable seminar for forest owners and on how to apply for the ETS Forestry Scheme.

In particular this property will be presented as a case study by our local MAF advisor Sarah Pitcher-Campbell looking at the complexity of mixed species (pine, cypress, popular, and native species), age groups, joint ventures, covenants, partnerships, and land classification issues at 1990 for both for Pre90 and Post89 plantings. There will also be 3 other speakers looking at tax, legal and carbon trading.

Location: Summerhill Farm woolshed, 340 Reid Road, Welcome Bay, Tauranga (approx. location shown in map below)

Date: Saturday, July 10, 2010. 10.30am to 2pm. Followed by farm drive, or bring your mountain bike. Lunch included.

Cost:
$10 admission fee for NZIF Members (lunch is being provided). Free to Farm Forestry Members (NZFFA membership number required with pre-enrolment).
