Prof Cris Brack is working in Indonesia this week
Cris is in Jakarta this week doing some forest inventory and carbon credit calculations.

We phoned Cris earlier today after hearing reports there had been a mangnitude 7.8 earthquake.

Cris was completely unaware that any shaking had been taking place as the earthquake had occured at 5.15 in the morning.

We are a caring bunch here at the Forestry School - and this certainly proves it!
