Forestry School attended and competed at the event
The weekend of September 12th and 13th was the National Woodskillz Event in Kawerau.

The Forestry School attended the event for the third time in three years.

It was a great weekend and the chainsaw racing was run by KFL Loggers of the Eastern BOP.

A portable sawmill was also in action along with the chainsawcarving competition.

Despite the weather being so damp, it still turned out to be a good weekend.

Here's looking forward to next year.
