Waiariki Institute of Technology and the School of Forestry, Wood Processing and Biotechnology congratulate Rodney Lonneker of Pankhurst Sawmilling Co, Southland - and wish him all the best in the future.
Rodney is proof that dedication and hard work can take you to the top! In 6 years Rodney has moved from his entry level labouring position at the Riverton Mill, to his current position as Head Timber Machinist.
The judges were very impressed with Rodneys interview. He said training had given him greater people and problem solving skills which have helped him at work, in his community and in his personal life.
