Jeremy is Director of the School of Forestry, Wood Processing and Biotechnology at Waiariki Institute of Technology. He has a Bachelor of Forestry Science from Canterbury University and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Victoria University of Wellington.
Jeremy has been associated with the Forest and Wood Industry for almost 35 years, since joining the New Zealand Forest Service as a Forester Trainee in 1975. Since then he has worked in numerous technical and management roles with this sector, including 12 years in senior management positions in the timber preservation industry in both New Zealand and Australia.
Jeremy is also a keen cyclist, currently sitting on the MTBNZ Executive and chairing the MTBNZ Technical Sub-Committee. He is also an active national road and track Commissaire and an international Mountain Bike Commissaire.
