NZIF Mary Sutherland Student Award Open to all New Zealand Institute of Forestry student members taking a forestry or forestry-related course at a New Zealand polytechnic.
Peg Hutchison Award (New Horizons for Women Trust) Applicable to female students studying forest management and forest operations. http://www.newhorizonsforwomen.org.nz
Kaingaroa Timberlands Kaitiaki o te Ngahere Scholarship Open to eligible students enrolling in a course of study towards a forestry related qualification. The scholarship will pay for full course fees for a period of up to four years.
Kaingaroa Roading scholarship The Kaingaroa Roading scholarship is for educational purposes for current residents of Kaingaroa Village who have completed their secondary school education or who are in their final year of secondary school. The scholarship can be used, for example, for study at a university, polytechn ic or private training provider located in New Zealand, or for the study costs associated with an apprenticeship. Outward Bound Scholarship for Leadership Open to Year 1 Diploma in Forest Management students who show leadership potential. Prize consists of all expenses paid attendance on the January Classic Outward Bound Course.
FPI Forestry Research Prize Open to all New Zealand Institute of Forestry student members taking a forestry or forestry-related course at Waiariki who enter a research poster into the annual NZIF conference. Prize consists of all expenses paid attendance at the annual NZIF conference. |
