Scholarships, Grants and PartnershipsA number of funding opportunities and scholarships are available to assist with your study expenses; some are administered by Waiariki while others are offered through various organisations. Some of the more popular scholarships are listed below and on our website.* Most scholarships are limited and conditions apply, you are encouraged to apply as early as possible to increase your chances of being awarded. Free Fees at Waiariki for 2007 School LeaversWaiariki’s Free Fees scheme applies for your first year of study at Waiariki in 2008 upon successful acceptance into most of our qualifications. This applies to full- or part-time study at any of our campuses in Rotorua, Taupo, Tokoroa or Whakatane. On average, you could save around $3,500 per annum. Conditions apply. Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust ScholarshipsRotorua Energy Charitable Trust (RECT) continues to support Waiariki students. Approximately 20 scholarships of $1,000 each are available to students studying a range of certificates, diplomas and degrees at Waiariki. www.rotoruatrust.org.nz.
