Course content.

The course will be a combination of lectures and practical work including tissue culture at MAF Levels 2 and 3 Quarantine in the laboratory, and use of computers.

Topics covered.

Basics of plant tissue culture; Biosecurity and tissue culture; Navigation of the MAF Biosecurity New Zealand web site and others; MAF Level 2 Quarantine tissue culture for imports; MAF Level 3 Quarantine tissue culture for imports; Tissue culture exports.
