Certificate in Horticulture  (WR2889)

Includes:
- National Certificate in Horticulture (Introductory) Level 2
- National Certificate in Horticulture Level 4

Level 4 Certificate 120 Credits


This certificate, which includes two embedded national certificates, develops a student’s practical skills and horticulture knowledge to a level that is required for employment in the horticulture industry, and encourages ongoing learning in the horticulture field.

Graduates will be able to:
- prepare a scale landscape design;
- manage a garden or landscaped area;
- propagate a range of plants;
- carry out plant pruning;
- prepare and plant a garden;
- identify a range of plants;
- identify and control weeds, pests, diseases and disorders;
- work in an unsupervised position in the horticulture industry;
- make sound soil management decisions; and
- safely use horticulture tools and machinery.
