Qualification Details
This certificate upskills people who are involved with practical industries in the rural sector. The courses are designed to enhance specific work practice skills and health and safety, enabling students to meet required industry standards and stay current and qualified. The certificate covers the requirements for the Growsafe Introductory Certificate and the Growsafe Applied Certificate which are in high demand in this region due to legislative pressure placed upon agrichemical users.
This qualification consists of a selection of elective course options and is designed to be flexible, enabling students to select courses relevant to their needs.
Graduates will be able to:

mix and apply agrichemicals safely;

show an in-depth understanding of agrichemical application;

calibrate motorised spray equipment correctly;

understand key plantation forestry tasks;

understand rural health and safety legislation.
